Morinaga Milk Industries Group has established its owneco-package guide and has been in operation since 2005. However, we decided to revise it based on JIS Z0130-2 (packaging system optimization) in 2018. This allows us to confirm the role of each part of container packaging and whether if there are any rooms for reduction, to make sure our products are environmentally friendly. Examples of such efforts include reducing the plastic containers. Bifidus yogurt 400g container are reduced from 20.0 g to 18.7g and cafe latte containers from 17. 3g to 16.3g, as well as the use of plant-based biomass plastics in refill creep bags.
